This looks so simple and easy. I found it at Makia Creations where she sells them. But I think that it would be really easy to just do it yourself. I just loved the simplicity of this.
I have to say that it would never have occurred to me to do something like this on the ceiling. But now I so want to (when we actually have our own house that is *sigh*) I think it looks fabulous and so harder than it actually is. Head over to Not JUST a Housewife to see her tutorial on how she did this Stenciled Ceiling.
I saw this tutorial on how to do this specific resurfacing and I love the effect! I have a table I think I want to do like this. Super cute! Head over to Vintage Revivals to see the tutorial on how to get this effect.
I think that this is adorable. I would probably do it in creams and reds though as that is what colors I like for my kitchen. I don't know though... you could do so many different combos...hmm. I will have to think on this. :) Head over to The Crafty Cupboard to see the tutorial and original post.
How cute is this. I love the look of this! And this tutorial shows how to "distress" stuff. You could use it on other things as well. Love it! Go on over to Crafts by Amanda to see the original post on the Distressed Eat Sign.
I want to do these so bad. We love to play games and they take up a lot of storage room. This would be a cute and creative way to solve that problem. And they look so cute on the walls! What is not to love I tell ya'! ;) Go over to Infarrantly Creative to see the tutorial. Awesome! Now I just need a house that has a "Game Room".
This is so adorable. And easy. And inexpensive. Some of my favorite words! :) This is pretty much going to the top of my list of to do's. I want to do it with an 8x10 picture and bigger block. Will let you know how it turns out. Great group craft too. Head over to Lil' Luna and check out the tutorial and see all the temple pics that they have.
I love this idea! Sometimes I forget about-hello-doing cute stuff on canvas. And I think I would also, instead of different colors of vinyl which can get pretty pricey, you could cut out different things with a Cricut (or whatever you use) and use it as a stencil and then paint. I also had the thought about maybe photos+modge podge+acrylics?...hmmm I may have to test that one out on a canvas. Maybe play with it a little and it could look pretty cool. At least in my head it does. :) To see the tutorial go here.
I want to do this once my kids are in school. And I think that it could grow with them very well, art work replaced with photos and what not. And it would not be very expensive. Think of all the old frames you see at garage sales! See the original post here at UCreate.
